How fast does your site actually load?
One clear score for desktop and mobile - no jargon, no dashboard to learn. Just how fast your site is and what to fix first.
Test my site's speedWhat your score means
90-100
Fast
Visitors rarely notice load time. Good territory for conversions and rankings alike.
50-89
Needs work
Load time is starting to cost you visitors, especially on mobile connections.
0-49
Slow
A meaningful share of visitors are leaving before the page finishes loading.
Why speed is worth checking
Every extra second costs visitors
The longer a page takes to become usable, the more people leave before it does - this compounds on mobile networks.
Speed affects conversions directly
Faster pages consistently see higher checkout, signup, and form-completion rates than slower ones on comparable traffic.
Google factors it into ranking
Page speed is one of many signals search engines use - not the only one, but a real one that's fully within your control.
Desktop
Full network & CPU profile
Mobile
375px, throttled conditions
Frequently asked questions
How is this different from just checking my site loads okay?
"Loads okay" on your own fast connection can still be genuinely slow for a visitor on a mobile network across the country. This test measures actual load timing under controlled conditions, not a subjective glance.
Should I test on mobile or desktop?
Both - the test runs each automatically. Most sites see meaningfully more traffic on mobile, and mobile scores are frequently worse than desktop, so checking only one gives an incomplete picture.
My score is low - what should I fix first?
Usually images: oversized, uncompressed, or loading before they're needed. After that, unnecessary third-party scripts (chat widgets, analytics, ad tags) are the next most common culprit. The full report prioritizes issues for you rather than leaving you to guess.
Is a fast score the same as a good performance score?
They're related but not identical. This speed test gives you one clear, plain-language number to act on quickly. For the full technical breakdown - LCP, CLS, TBT, Speed Index individually - see the Performance Audit.
