European Accessibility Act compliance checker
Since 28 June 2025 the European Accessibility Act requires many products and services sold in the EU, including e-commerce, banking and e-books, to be accessible. Check your site against the WCAG criteria the EAA's harmonised standard is built on.

Automated WCAG 2.1 and 2.2 checks in a real browser, the technical basis of EN 301 549 for websites.
Text alternatives
Images and controls without text alternatives that assistive technology can read.
Contrast and visual presentation
Text and interface elements below the minimum contrast ratios.
Forms and checkout fields
Inputs without labels or accessible names, which matter most on sign-up and checkout flows that the EAA covers.
Keyboard access
Controls that cannot be reached or used with a keyboard, and missing focus indicators.
Structure and language
Page language, heading structure and landmarks that let screen reader users navigate.
Names, roles and values
Custom widgets that do not expose their purpose and state to assistive technology.
How it works
From URL to a WCAG-mapped report in three steps.
Paste your URL
Start with the pages the EAA cares about most: product pages, account sign-up and checkout.
We test it in a real browser
Automated accessibility rules run against the fully rendered page, including JavaScript content.
Fix by criterion
Each failure lists the WCAG criterion, the affected elements and the fix.
EAA conformity cannot be certified by an automated tool. EN 301 549 includes requirements beyond WCAG, and automated checks only cover part of WCAG itself, so manual testing and an accessibility statement are still needed. This is not legal advice.
