Find dead links before your users do
A real browser loads your page and checks every link it finds - up to 25 per scan, in batches, with the exact mechanics disclosed below so you know what you're getting.
Check my links freeHow the check actually works
No vague "we crawl your site" - here's exactly what happens.
Up to 25 links per scan
Every unique link found on the page is collected, then the first 25 are checked - enough to catch the links that matter on most pages without an unbounded crawl.
Checked in batches of 6
Links are checked concurrently in groups of 6, each with its own timeout, so one slow or hanging link doesn't stall the whole scan.
HEAD requests, not full loads
Each link is checked with a lightweight HEAD request - fast enough to check dozens of links without loading every linked page in full.
How it works
Real browser, real links, disclosed limits.
Paste your URL
A real Chromium browser (via Playwright) loads the page - links added by JavaScript are caught, not just links in the raw HTML.
Every link is collected and checked
Up to 25 unique links, checked in batches of 6 with individual timeouts.
See exactly what broke
Each dead link is listed with its status - a 404, a timeout, or a connection failure - so you know what to fix, not just that something's wrong.
Frequently asked questions
Why only 25 links, not the whole site?
This tool checks the links on a single page you give it, not an entire site's link graph - 25 covers the links on that page with room to spare for most content. If you need whole-site crawl coverage, a dedicated site crawler is the right tool; see how Scanverra compares to Screaming Frog and Sitebulb on the comparison pages.
Does it check links added by JavaScript?
Yes - the scan uses a real headless browser to load the page, not a static HTML parser, so links rendered client-side are collected the same way a visitor's browser would see them.
What counts as a "broken" link?
Anything that doesn't return a successful response within the timeout - 404s, other 4xx/5xx errors, DNS failures, and connection timeouts are all flagged as broken.
Does it check external links too?
Yes - both internal links (to other pages on your own site) and external links (to other domains) are checked in the same pass.
