Check what search engines - and AI - actually see
Title tags, meta descriptions, canonical URLs, structured data, and robots.txt, checked in one pass. Plus a discoverability score for AI assistants that most SEO tools don't measure at all.
Run free SEO auditWhat we check, and how honestly
Every signal below is checked by a real browser load of your page - not guessed. Where a check is narrower than it sounds, we say so.
Title & meta description
scoredThe Website Audit's SEO score flags a missing or empty title/meta description on every scan. Browser Test goes further, showing the actual description text and flagging it when it falls outside the 50-160 character range Google typically renders. Both are single-page checks - run it on each URL you care about, there's no cross-page duplicate detection.
Canonical URL
scoredReal validation, not just presence: flags a relative or invalid canonical URL, multiple conflicting canonical tags, and the common mistake of every page canonicalizing to your homepage instead of itself. It doesn't confirm the target actually resolves to a 200 - that's still a manual check.
Structured data (JSON-LD)
checkedChecks whether the page ships any schema.org JSON-LD at all. This is a presence check, not a full schema validator - it tells you whether search engines and AI assistants have anything structured to read, not whether every property is correctly typed.
robots.txt
scoredA real syntax and reachability check runs as part of the SEO score, flagging malformed directives or an unreachable file. On top of that, two Scanverra-specific checks flag a blanket block of known AI crawlers and any Disallow rule that reveals sensitive admin or backup paths.
How it works
A single scan, real browser rendering, no crawler setup.
Paste your URL
One page at a time - no crawler setup, no site verification.
We read the rendered page
A real browser loads the page and reads its metadata, structured data, and robots.txt the same way a search engine or AI crawler would.
Get a scored, honest report
An SEO score plus the separate Agent Readiness score, each with specific, traceable findings - not a vague grade.
Every signal, listed
Honest scope note: this is a single-URL audit, not a full-site crawler. It can't find duplicate titles across your whole site or map your internal link graph. For that kind of site-wide work, a dedicated crawler like Screaming Frog or Sitebulb is the right tool - see how Scanverra compares to each on the comparison pages.
Frequently asked questions
Does this replace Google Search Console?
No. Search Console shows how Google actually sees and ranks your indexed pages over time; this audit checks a single URL's on-page SEO signals right now. They're complementary - use this before you publish or when debugging one page, use Search Console to monitor real search performance.
Does the SEO score include page speed?
Performance is scored separately as its own category (see the Performance Audit), but slow pages do affect real rankings, so it's worth checking both. The SEO score here focuses on metadata, structured data, and crawlability signals.
Can it detect duplicate title tags or meta descriptions across my site?
No - each scan looks at a single URL. If you need site-wide duplicate-content detection across many pages, that's outside what this tool checks; a dedicated site crawler is the right tool for that job.
What is the AI-discoverability part of the score?
A separate Agent Readiness score that checks things classic SEO tools don't: whether AI crawlers are blocked in robots.txt, whether structured data and semantic landmarks exist, and whether the page's layout is stable enough for an agent to interact with reliably.
Is this a full technical SEO crawl of my whole site?
No - it's a single-page audit. For a broader technical SEO checklist covering the site-wide factors this single-URL scan can't see, see the Technical SEO Audit Checklist article linked below.
